Every year during festive season we come across reports, videos and images where companies have rewarded their employees with expensive gifts. Usually we have seen companies gifting sweets and gift hampers to the employees. However with every year passing by, the definition of gift has changed. Many of the companies have started gifting cars and other expensive gifts to the employees. Here we have a Pharma company from Panchkula, Haryana that recently gifted 15 Tata Punch SUVs to its employees.
The video has been shared by Spokesman on their Facebook page. The owner of a pharmaceutical company MitsKart in Panchkula, M. K. Bhatia is seen speaking to the reporter in the video. He mentions that the employees have been with him for a very long time and by gifting them a brand new vehicle, he is only trying to show how greatful he is for their service.
While talking about the gift, he mentions that this is not the first time, they have conducted a ceremony like this. In fact last year Mr. Bhatia had gifted 12 Tata Punch SUVs to his employees.
He mentions in the video that many of them who are working with him had dreamt of owning a new car some day. He was only trying to realise that dream of his employees so that their dedication towards work is improved.
The reporter even speaks to a couple of employees and everyone was excited about their new gift. They thanked Mr. Bhatia for this gift and praised the owner for his gesture. The owner also mentioned in the video that out of 15 only 2 of them currently know how t drive a car and rest of them are learning.
Buying a car is still a dream for many in India due to various reasons and financial situations that deter them from making such a decision. The owner of the pharmaceutical company helped his employees turn their dreams into reality by gifting them a car. The owner also mentions in the video that his aim is to transform his company into a trust and based on the performance, the trust will reward the employees.
Mr. Bhatia mentions that some of his employees have been working with him since the beginning and he was thanking them for their hard work and loyalty by gifting them a brand new car. Coming to the car seen here, Bhatia is gifting 15 Tata Punch SUVs to the employees. It is one of the popular micro SUVs in the Indian market.
Tata Punch is available in petrol, CNG and electric formats. The pharma company is gifting the ICE version to its customers. The petrol version of the Punch is powered by a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated, 3-cylinder petrol engine that generates 86 Bhp and 115 Nm of peak torque.
The engine is available with 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox options, and a CNG option is also available. The CNG variant gets twin-cylinder technology too. We are not sure if any of the Punch gifted to the customers are CNG variants or not. Price for a brand new Tata Punch starts at Rs 6.13 lakh, ex-showroom and goes up till Rs 10.15 lakh, ex-showroom.
