The vehicle was given a period correct 996.2-generation 911 GT3 drivetrain, which means an almost 100 hp increase to 381 hp and a redline of 8,000 rpm, all controlled by a six-speed manual. The car’s brakes were also upgraded to those used on the first-gen GT3.
On the inside, it benefits from black and grey houndstooth seats with black leather. Blue accents are abundant throughout, and the car’s name is stitched prominently on the headrests. The car’s infotainment system was also updated with a modern system designed specifically for the 996. If you have a 996 and want the same, it’s available as part of the Porsche Classic Communication Management range.
With it being a collaboration with PCA, it toured the country throughout 2022, making stops at events and parades. It’s a superb vehicle, one that is most likely going to sell for an eye-watering amount. No auction estimate was provided, but seeing as it’s a one-off, even being the most maligned generation of 911 isn’t going to hold it back from costing a small fortune.
