Home to one of the world’s most celebrated, challenging, and beautiful street circuits and one of the most anticipated Grand Prix races on the F1 calendar, Monaco is one of the capitals of the automotive world and is where some of the greatest moments in automotive history took place. The Porsche brand has a similar cachet, having been around for an incredible 75 years, and spending that entire three-quarters of a century creating some of the world’s favorite driver’s cars and performance cars, which have since been responsible for great moments on the track, on the road, and in pop culture. Combining the two is the new “75 years of Porsche sports cars” exhibit in Monaco, comprised of 12 cars, including six racing Porsches loaned to the Collection de Voitures de S.A.S. le Prince de Monaco.
Open from February 20 to March 20, the exhibition has been set up in the car museum’s new rooms. It includes the 1978 911 SC Safari that inspired the 911 Dakar, the iconic 911 GT1 Evo, the 911 RSR from 2016, the 908/03, 356 B 2000 GS Carrera GTL, and the “short tail” Porsche 908. With 75 years of history of Porsche and an incredible collection at the Collection de Voitures in Monaco, this is an exhibition to see for any Porsche fan.
