Subaru has announced the pricing for its latest compact car, the all-new 2024 Impreza. The sixth-generation Impreza has been completely redesigned, featuring updated multimedia technology and enhanced safety features. It also includes improved performance, with new features like the RS trim, which features a 2.5-liter SUBARU BOXER® engine, exclusive 18-inch wheels, and unique exterior and interior elements.
The Impreza is available in three trim levels: Base, Sport, and new RS trim. The Base and Sport trims are equipped with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder direct-injection SUBARU BOXER engine that delivers 152 horsepower and 145 lb.-ft. of torque. The new RS features a 2.5-liter BOXER engine that produces 182 horsepower and 178 lb.-ft. of torque. The Sport and RS trims come with an 8-speed manual mode and steering wheel paddle shifters that enable the driver to control the transmission via eight pre-set ratios.
The 2024 Impreza also has an improved Subaru Global Platform with 10% higher torsional rigidity, full inner frame construction, and additional structural adhesive contributing to better body rigidity and lighter weight. This new platform improves dynamic performance and produces a smoother ride with a quieter cabin.
All 2024 Impreza models come with the latest version of the award-winning EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology. The Impreza also features Automatic Emergency Steering, which works with EyeSight and Blind-Spot Detection to assist with steering control, helping to avoid collisions at speeds of up to 50 mph.
The 2024 Impreza starts at $22,995 and has a long list of standard features, including EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, steering-responsive LED headlights, dual-zone automatic climate control, combination meter with a 4.2-inch color LCD, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System with individual tire display and automatic individual wheel ID registration.
All Impreza models feature a center information display with the SUBARU STARLINK dual 7.0-inch high-resolution touchscreens. The top screen controls smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming connectivity, while the bottom screen controls climate and vehicle settings.
The Impreza Sport, which has a starting price of $24,995, offers a fun-to-drive performance feel thanks to the SI-Drive performance management system, sport-tuned suspension, and a Lineartronic CVT with 8-speed manual mode and steering wheel paddle shifters. The Sport trim upgrades from the Base and features the SUBARU STARLINK 11.6-inch Multimedia Plus system with six speakers, keyless access with push-button start, and LED fog lights.
The Impreza RS is the top-of-the-line trim and starts at $27,885. It has a responsive 2.5-liter BOXER engine paired with a Lineartronic CVT, an 8-speed manual mode, and steering wheel paddle shifters. The RS also has an All-Weather Package, Blind-Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and Automatic Emergency Steering. It features unique exterior trim elements, including RS badging on the front doors and rear hatch, a black finish on the front grille, side spoilers, side mirrors, and upgraded LED headlights. The cabin of the RS has gunmetal and simulated carbon fiber interior trim accents, sport front seats in black cloth with red cloth bolsters, and carpeted floor mats featuring the RS logo.
The 2024 Impreza will begin arriving at Subaru retailers in early summer.
