Range Rover SUVs have been making a comeback in the Bollywood celebrity garages after a while. With the manufacturer starting assembly of Range Rover SUVs in India, the prices of the SUV have come down substantially and that has encouraged many celebrities to buy the current generation Range Rover SUVs. Last month Bollywood couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone welcomed their daughter and it looks like the actors bought a brand new Range Rover for their newly born.

The video of the Range Rover has been shared by Viral Bhayani on their Instagram page. In this video, we see a Green coloured Range Rover SUV parked right outside the porch of a the couple’s residence. It looks like the shade seen here on the Range Rover is a custom shade as we have not seen a shade like this on Range Rover SUVs lately.
Ranveer Singh has always been known for his loud fashion sense and love of different colours. We won’t be surprised to know if this shade was his idea. We do not see Ranveer Singh or Deepika Padukone next to the vehicle. We hope to see this vehicle on the road with the celebs in it soon.
The SUV seen here is the LWB variant. The current-generation Range Rover is superior in terms of power and features compared to the previous model. The Range Rover comes with features like a 35-speaker Meridian sound system equipped with active noise cancellation that filters out wheel vibrations, tire noise, and engine sounds using counter-cancelling signals.
It also boasts a new 13.1-inch floating infotainment screen and a fully digital instrument cluster. Other features include a Head-Up Display, multi-zone climate control, a four-spoke steering wheel, and a rear-seat entertainment screen. For the first time, the Range Rover is being offered with a third-row seat, exclusively available with the LWB variant. Range Rover is offering the SUV with both petrol and diesel engine options.
The petrol version of the SUV is powered by a 3.0 litre, 6-cylinder turbocharged MHEV engine that generates 394 Bhp and 550 Nm of peak torque. The diesel version of the Range Rover uses a 3.0 litre twin-turbocharged MHEV engine that generates 346 BHp and 700 Nm of peak torque. Both these engine options are mated to an automatic transmission and power is sent to all four wheels.
Price for a brand new Range Rover SUV starts at Rs 2.36 crore, ex-showroom and goes all the way till Rs 4.98 crore. Range Rover SUVs have been extremely popular among celebrities in India. Actors like Sanjay Dutt, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Nimrat Kaur, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonam Kapoor, Telugu actor Mahesh Babu, Malayalam actor Mohanlal, Pooja Hegde, Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kartik Aaryan all own this SUV.
Coming back to Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. The couple owns a variety of expensive and exotic cars in their garage. They are probably the only star couple from Bollywood to own two Maybach GLS600 SUVs.
Ranveer Singh was one of the first actors to buy the Maybach SUV in Bollywood and an year after that, he gifted another GLS600 to Deepika on her birthday. Other than the Maybach, the actors own Mercedes-Benz GLS350d, Aston Martin Rapide S, Lamborghini Urus, Mercedes Maybach S500 and so on.
