The video was shared by Galatta Media on their Instagram page and was posted on the internet last October. The video has garnered hundreds of thousands of views and over 1.25 lakh likes. In this short online video, Rajnikanth is seen sitting in the co-passenger seat of a convertible supercar, recording a selfie video, which is quite rare. Judging by the surroundings, it seems like the video was recorded somewhere outside India.
The steering wheel is on the left-hand side. The actor records himself enjoying the wind in the convertible car while another person drives. Rajnikanth slowly tilts the camera to show the person driving the car, revealing that he is inside a Ferrari. The exact model and details related to the vehicle are not available. While we have seen Rajnikanth experience expensive cars and SUVs, he himself owns or prefers being driven around in humble cars like the Toyota Innova.
The video ends as the actor enjoys the drive. This is not the first time such a video has appeared on the internet. There’s also a video where Rajnikanth is driving a Lamborghini Urus Super SUV. Rumors suggested that the superstar had bought the exotic car; however, it was later revealed that he was either taking the car for a drive or it belonged to a family member. Shortly after the launch of Rajnikanth’s movie “Jailer” last year, the producer of the movie, Kalanithi Maran, gifted him a brand-new BMW X7 SUV. The SUV is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. Both engines are 3.0-liter, inline, six-cylinder, twin-turbocharged units. The petrol variant generates 381 PS and 520 Nm of peak torque, while the diesel variant produces around 340 PS and 700 Nm of peak torque. Both engine options come with an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard, and power is sent to all four wheels. Additionally, both engines have a 48V mild-hybrid system for better fuel efficiency and torque assist.
