Just a few days ago, the billionaire businessman and chairman of Raymond Group was spotted driving a brand-new Lamborghini Revuelto supercar. Many believed that he had purchased this supercar. However, it was later revealed that he was taking a test drive of this new flagship V12 supercar from Lamborghini. Following its test drive, Gautam Singhania has now shared his experience of it. He has highlighted that during his test drive, the supercar had a complete electrical failure at the trans-harbour link.

Gautam Singhania’s Lamborghini Revuelto Test Drive Experience

Gautam Singhania shared a post on X stating, “I took the new Lamborghini Revuelto for a test drive and ended up stranded on the trans-harbour link due to a complete electrical failure. It’s a brand-new car—are there reliability concerns? This is the third one I’ve heard of experiencing issues within 15 days of delivery.”

Presently, there are no other reports that have highlighted a similar issue with the Lamborghini Revuelto. This is why the company has not issued any recalls for the Revueltos that have been delivered so far.

However, if there is a manufacturing defect, most likely the company will issue a recall. So far, the company has not issued any official statements on the matter.

Lamborghini Revuelto

The Lamborghini Revuelto is the latest flagship V12 supercar from the Italian automaker. It boasts an extremely aggressive design, which continues the legacy of the immensely successful Aventador. It gets the same scissor doors and an open engine bay in the rear.

It comes equipped with a 6.5-liter, naturally aspirated V12. According to Lamborghini, it is the lightest and most powerful V12 engine produced by the brand. It is also assisted by not one, but three electric motors.

The V12 engine alone generates 825 bhp and 725 Nm. Meanwhile, the hybrid setup helps in taking the power to a whopping 1,015 bhp and 807 Nm of torque. The Revuelto also comes with a 3.8 kWh battery pack. Interestingly enough, it can do 10 km of driving in EV mode.

Gautam Singhania’s Gripe With Maserati

Last year, Gautam Singhania also had a huge feud with the Italian supercar maker Maserati. In a series of tweets, Gautam mentioned that the Maserati MC20 is the worst supercar that he has ever bought. He added that he advises people to think twice before buying a car from Maserati.

In his complaints, he highlighted that the car has a lot of fundamental defects. However, Maserati had been refusing to acknowledge any complaints. He stated that a Maserati is a very dangerous car and someone could even kill themselves in it.

Following these complaints, Maserati issued an official statement. It said, “We confirm that the specific technical concern raised is performing within its designed capacity and meets Maserati’s stringent quality standards.”
