Safari-Inspired Nissan 180SX Is A Dirt Cheap Japanese 911 Dakar

The cabin remains largely stock, bar the aftermarket steering wheel, shift knob, and seat covers. We also see a Panasonic head unit with a reverse camera and the car has retained its Japanese toll card reader as a neat callback to its JDM roots. Unfortunately, America never got the Nissan 180SX, so this presents a special opportunity.

While the 180SX off-roader looks neat outside, it hides a few minor flaws. CarVX reports show that it was involved in a collision in January 2023 but has since been repaired. The vehicle also has a mileage discrepancy, meaning its actual mileage is unknown. Aside from this, it has drilled and plugged holes in the A-pillars, tires from 2016, a cracked dashboard, and some corrosion on the push bar and underbody components.

While it’s not a perfect car, it is a unique build that stands out and should provide loads of fun. Interested? It’s currently up for grabs on Cars & Bids, with the current bid at $6,180. Five days remain, so keep an eye out and perhaps score a steal.
