Each car will start as an aluminum CSX2000 series car. They will come in the bright Fuchsia Metallic paint, with the CSX2800 prototype sporting a hardtop, chrome bumpers, hand-painted graphics, early-style Cobra badges, polished side vents, and “Powered by Ford” badges.
Staying true to the original Dragonsnake, the chassis features four-inch round tube main rails. The suspension comes with adjustable Penske shocks plus rack and pinion steering reminiscent of the original 1963 model. Other notable features include factory-style disc brakes from 1963, an aluminum radiator, an electric fan, and a custom exhaust. The car rides on original 15-inch custom FIA-style wheels with Mickey Thompson rubber, while the rear tires are massive 28″ x 10.5″ M/T Drag radials.
Inside, there are SW Gauges, an 8,000 tachometer mounted on the dash, 3-inch lap belts, black leather seats, door pull straps, a dash-mounted rear-view mirror, a passenger grab handle, a glove box, a custom shift knob, and a stainless roll bar.
