Shmee150 sees where BRABUS makes magic in Bottrop, Germany.
BRABUS is known all over the world for creating some of the most exciting custom creations in automotive history. In order to see where it all happens, prolific car enthusiast and YouTube personality Shmee150 went to Bottrop, Germany to tour their incredible headquarters facility.
He starts in the showroom, which shows off some of BRABUS’s latest models, including the 850, based on the V12-powered Mercedes-Maybach S 680, and the Rocket 900 R, an incredible supercar based on the Porsche 911 Turbo S, as well as a Range Rover-based creation, which are marking BRABUS’s expansion beyond customizing only Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
Shmee’s tour continues throughout the massive facility, showing the servicing facilities and where the cars are made into unique masterpieces, including getting an up close and personal look at the materials, innovations and engineering solutions that are crucial to making the masterpieces that wear the BRABUS name. One of the most interesting parts is the look at the interior workshop, where BRABUS shows off its ability to create custom, bespoke interiors with a broad spectrum of colors, beautiful contrast stitching, and sumptuous, supple hides.
Continuing to show off its bespoke abilities, BRABUS also showed off the advanced configurator that the 25 BRABUS Rocket 900 R clients use to spec their cars, with virtually limitless viewing angles and a library of options and choices to make the car nothing short of perfect. The facility also boasts a certified testing facility for cars, which helps BRABUS achieve its dedication to incredibly-crafted custom machines.
BRABUS also showed off the production of some of its most iconic and exclusive creations: the XLP and 6×6 conversions of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, as well as the rare Crawler, which turn the legendary off-roading SUV into a head-turning truck and a zany off-roading racer, with exclusivity and unmatched presence. With the tour continuing to BRABUS’s Classic department, the iconic brand showed off its dedication to preserving the legacy of historic cars, as well.
