Looking to expand your exotic garage with something unusual? Perhaps the ‘Toys for Boys’ collection will appeal. Comprised of six highly desirable modern-day Porsche 911s, the set includes a MAN TGX truck and a Rolfo car transporter trailer.
All eight of these puzzle pieces form the realization of the original owner’s vision. Acclaimed Austrian architect Alexander Serda was inspired by the wooden car carrier he used to play with as a child and set about recreating this with a sextet of naturally aspirated Porsche 911 sports cars and an actual truck.
The ‘Toys for Boys’ collection was supposed to debut at the 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed, which celebrated Porsche’s 70th, but the architect had to cancel as the 911 GT3 RS was not yet ready. After some of these have been in storage for about five years, Serda says it is time to let go of the collection.
A Dream Collection For Any Porsche Enthusiast
Offered for sale by UK-based Porsche Specialists RPM Technik, the ‘Toys for Boys’ collection is described as “probably the most unique sale we have ever been asked to undertake and an unrepeatable project to recreate.”
All the 911s are naturally aspirated, exclusive versions of the 991 series. The collection comprises a 2016 911 R (one of 991 in existence), a 2018 GT3 Clubsport, a 2018 GT3 Touring, a 2018 GT3 Cup, a 2018 GT3 R, and a 2019 GT3 RS Weissach. As you would expect, after spending their lives in climate-controlled storage, all six cars present beautifully and boast only delivery mileage. They’re as close to brand new as is possible.

Hennessey Would Consider A Track-Only Venom F5 If Customers Wanted It
But for now, the street-legal Venom F5 Revolution is hardcore enough for even the most ardent track enthusiasts.
So why hasn’t the collection been sold yet? That might have to do with the trailer and truck being stipulated as non-negotiable parts of the sale. Finding a buyer for six pricey Porsches is difficult enough, but when one has to spend a small fortune on a very long truck and trailer that most buyers wouldn’t even be licensed to drive, the list of potential future owners is minute. Usually, collections are broken up when sold. Clearly, Serda doesn’t want his vision to die.
As for the pricing, the collection is listed as POA, so, as the adage goes, if you have to ask…
A Most Unusual Collection
There’s always a possibility that a wealthy and eccentric car collector will appreciate the project and take the entire set. They would need an awfully big garage, though. If the selle continues to be resolute in his conditions, perhaps a dealership would be the ideal buyer. Then again, there are plenty of wealthy people worldwide who have the space and some. For example, one such individual effectively accelerated the rollout of the Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution.
It’s worth noting that all six Porsches have received a service recently, which means they should be able to hit the road without any worries. After all, these cars were designed to be driven, so it’s a shame that they’ve been hidden away for so long. First listed for sale over two months ago, we wonder how thin Serda’s patience is wearing.
