All of this means that the cheapest Blazer EV that will initially be available this year is the all-wheel-drive 2LT which starts at $56,715, including the destination charge. A cheaper FWD version of the 2LT should be available later at an undisclosed price, but it will still be more expensive than the 1LT that has been binned – we expect a drop in price of around $2,500-$3,000 for the FWD version of the 2LT.
As for the Equinox EV, that was promised to start at around $30,000 when it was revealed almost a year ago. Based on Chevy’s comments about the overlap between the two models, we can presume that the top Equinox EV trims will cost close to $45,000, which will probably apply to the 3RS trim. Dual-motor Equinox EV models will make up to 300 horsepower. In the case of the RS, the interior will be lifted by sporty red accents.
