In India, we have seen people upgrade from hatchbacks to SUVs because they offer more space and better road presence. This road presence is something that significantly helps while driving. It’s common to see SUV owners intimidate other road users by honking and driving too close to smaller cars in front. They also flash their headlights, which disturbs and forces smaller car drivers to move aside. However, this tactic doesn’t always work, and here we have a video that shows just that. A Maruti WagonR driver bullies a Toyota Hilux driver and pushes him off the road.
Bro had enough

The video has been shared on various social media platforms. The video seen here is actually not from India but appears to be from somewhere in Pakistan. It looks like the Toyota Hilux owner was trying to create viral content for social media. The Hilux was occupying all the space on the road, which was narrow.
The road was not wide enough for two vehicles to pass simultaneously. The Hilux, being a large vehicle, took up all the space, leaving the Maruti Suzuki WagonR driver stuck behind the truck. It seems the WagonR driver tried to ask for a way through, but the Hilux driver had no intention of moving. The WagonR driver then moved out of the lane and began overtaking the Hilux from the left.
The Hilux driver was not expecting anything like this. The WagonR driver was desperately trying to overtake the Hilux, not caring about the fact that he was driving on a narrow road.
He drove the hatchback off the road and accelerated. The hatchback started gaining on the Hilux. The men standing on the loading bay of the Hilux watched the hatchback carefully.
In an attempt to avoid crashing the hatchback, the WagonR driver steered the car back onto the road. The Hilux was still right next to the WagonR, and the Hilux driver probably didn’t notice the WagonR. The hatchback crashed into the left fender of the Hilux and pushed it off the road.
The Hilux driver applied the brakes and brought the truck to a stop before crashing into a pole or driving into a farm. The WagonR driver continued to drive as if nothing had happened. The car from which the video was being recorded also slowed down, as the occupants were surprised to see such an accident occur in front of them.
If you look at the video carefully, it’s clear that the WagonR driver was very aggressive toward the Hilux driver. It almost felt like the WagonR driver was bullying the Hilux driver and pushing him off the road. You should never perform such stunts on public roads, as you are not only putting your own life but also the lives of other road users at risk.
Wait for your window of opportunity, and once you see that the road ahead is clear, then overtake. The Maruti WagonR has a tall boy design, so the chances of this hatchback losing control and toppling can’t be ruled out. Always be careful and patient while driving no matter which part of the world you are in.
