On the exterior, the recognizable Beetle-like silhouette has been preserved, unlike the poor man’s Rolls-Royce-inspired build we covered weeks ago. There are a few modifications that enhance the looks, though, including the two more headlights and Fuchs-style aluminum rims you may recognize from classic Porsche 911 sports cars.
This more potent Volkswagen Beetle Convertible build has already been sold for an undisclosed sum. That’s fine as it resides in Germany, so long paperwork (and cost) awaits if you decide to bring it stateside. Maybe it would be more affordable to build one yourself, or, if it suits your taste, go for an EV conversion.
