Tata Motors is currently one of the leading car manufacturers in the country. They offer a variety of cars in their lineup. Tata offers several SUVs in the market, and some of them were ahead of their time. One such product was the Telcoline. It was actually one of the first pickup trucks to be officially sold in India. It wasn’t only sold in India but was also exported to other markets. The Telcoline was the predecessor of several future Tata products like the Sierra and the Estate. The Telcoline pickup truck is extremely rare to spot on the road. Here, we have an example from Karnataka that has been completely modified to look badass.
The images and videos of the Tata Telcoline have been shared by Kam Customs on their Instagram page. The car has been heavily modified on the outside. The front has undergone major changes. The stock front grille has been replaced with a custom-made unit that features an old Tata logo. The stock rectangular-shaped headlamps have been swapped out for an aftermarket unit. The round projector-type headlamps come with a ring-type LED DRL, and a smaller pilot lamp can also be seen next to it. The stock bumper has been replaced with an off-road spec unit.
The metal bumper is equipped with a bull bar and integrated LED fog lamps. Shackles are also attached to it. The bonnet has also been modified as part of the project, featuring a custom hood scoop. Moving to the side profile, the truck now sports custom-made flared fenders and aftermarket alloy wheels. Metal rock sliders have been added, and the original ORVMs have been replaced with units from another car. Marker lamps are installed on the roof, and the truck maintains the dual-cab design. A metal roof rack and a roll cage have been added as well.

As we move to the rear, more changes become apparent. An LED bar is placed on the tailgate, which also features Telcoline branding. The original tail lamps on the SUV have been replaced with an aftermarket LED unit that has clear lenses, giving it a neat look. Just like the front, the rear bumper on this truck has also been modified, and a tow hook can be seen on the car. The exterior of the car has been completely repainted in gloss black, complemented by yellow pinstripes on the lower half of the body, enhancing the overall look of the car. The exterior looks quite neat. Is this the best-looking pickup truck modification we’ve seen on the internet? No. However, for a modified Telcoline, the truck looks brilliant. It offers that badass look and will surely turn heads on the road. While we don’t have any images, it’s expected that the interior of this Telcoline has also been customized to match the exterior look. As of now, the time and amount spent on this project are unknown.
