Jeep may want to pay tribute to its roots with a build that will debut at the Easter Jeep Safari. Last year, the automaker debuted seven Easter Safari concepts, including the Jeep ’41 Concept, inspired by the original Willys Jeep. Perhaps the automaker will take a different direction with the new concept, but there’s also a possibility that it could be something else.
Above the hood, we can see a snippet of an old print advert titled “The Universal Jeep.” This could reference the model of the same name (also known as the Jeep Universal) that Willys marketed in the 1950s and 1960s. These included the CJ-3A, CJ-3B, and early versions of the CJ-5. The build teased above could perhaps be a homage to these off-roaders.
The second model, pictured below, teases another build. But if we look at the clues properly, it won’t be your average Jeep off-roader.
