If you dream of owning a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ but your financial condition does not allow you to spend about Rs. 6 crore on a car, we have got you covered. Today, we will show you how you can own a Lambo in just Rs. 14 lakh.
Yes, you have heard that right, a Lambo for Rs. 14 lakh. A project is carried out by someone who has used the chassis and engine of an old Civic and customized the car to resemble a Lambo. This project is showcased in a YouTube video uploaded by Mihir Galat.
The video starts by showing the front fascia of the car which highly resembles of a Lamborghini. The host mentions that the chassis are taken from a Honda Civic and the looks of a Lamborghini are created by using custom made fiber parts.
Further, he shows us the headlights which are entirely custom made and look the same as the original. The main reason behind opting for custom made headlights was that the OEM parts were too expensive and used parts were not available. Hence, they had to make the light themselves. The air dams which are present on the original Lamborghini are also replicated in this project.
Regarding the design, we can say that if a non-car guy sees this car, he may get fooled by this modification. However, if someone even has a little knowledge about cars, he can easily understand that there is something fishy with this car.
This is mainly due to the irregular dimensions, higher ground clearance in replica cars, design flaws, exhaust note and multiple other things which a car guy can easily detect. We understand that this is completely a hobby thing and it is not something which can be daily driven.
The side profile gets gold finished 19 inch alloy wheels which add to the sportiness of the vehicle. A major highlight of this modification is the butterfly doors which are inspired from the original Lamborghini.
The owner of this project has also added electric convertible roof in this car. The entire setup of the convertible is done by them in house which is a great thing. The functioning of the convertible roof is also shown in the video.
Most of the part of the interior is kept stock except the center console. Other than this, the overall theme of the cabin is changed to black and yellow. Most of the buttons and switches installed in the cabin are inspired from Lamborghini but they lack quality and multiple fit and finishing issues are noticeable.
In the rear, the taillights, spoiler and the rear louvres are custom made by them. The car is also fitted with an aftermarket exhaust system to give it a sporty exhaust note.
At last, we can conclude that if you want to stand out from the crowd, you can definitely go for such modifications. However, as seen in the video, you cannot expect perfection and certain issues may always be there.
