Toyota launched the next-generation Vellfire luxury MPV in the market earlier this year. It is currently the flagship MPV sold by Toyota in India. The Toyota Vellfire is an extremely popular MPV, and many celebrities and rich businessmen have already bought the previous version of this MPV. Coming to the current generation Vellfire, it has already started reaching dealerships across the country. Here, we have a video where the current generation Vellfire MPV is shown inside-out in a detailed manner.
The video has been uploaded by Machines of Men on their YouTube channel. One of the things that sets the Vellfire apart from other MPVs on the road is its road presence. The new-generation Vellfire maintains the imposing look yet manages to look premium. The vlogger starts by talking about the exterior. The exterior design of the MPV is similar to the older version; however, Toyota has made minor changes to the MPV to make it look even more aggressive.
The main attraction here is the massive front grille. The six-slat grille is designed in such a manner that the split LED headlamps look a part of it. The chrome-finished grille does look premium. There are parking sensors and a camera neatly integrated into the grille and bumper. There is an LED fog lamp on the lower part of the bumper too. Coming to the side profile, the overall design of the MPV remains more or less the same. The Vellfire is 4,995 mm long, 1,850 mm wide, and 1,950 mm tall. The MPV has a wheelbase of 3,000 mm.
When compared to the previous version, the Vellfire is 60 mm longer and 50 mm taller. The MPV gets a kink on the lower window line, which resembles the design of a thunder. The pillars are all blacked out, and there are chrome garnishes in place as well. The car also gets a massive glass area. The Vellfire comes with 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
The vlogger then opens the door and explores the cabin in the Vellfire. Just like the exterior, the interior of this MPV looks extremely premium too. The car gets an electrically adjustable driver’s seat with a memory function. The ORVMs can be electrically opened, closed, and adjusted. The seats are wrapped in premium leather material. The dashboard is wrapped in a soft-touch material and gets a black and brown dual-tone shade. There is a 14-inch floating-type touchscreen infotainment screen at the center.
The driver can actually control the functions of the rear doors as well. This luxury MPV gets a fully digital instrument cluster, ADAS features, a 360-degree camera, ventilated and heated seats, an electrically adjustable steering wheel, and so on. The car gets electric window curtains for both second and third-row passengers. Coming to the rear seat, there are two captain seats here, and they both have electric adjustments and a reclining function. There is a split glass roof that would help in making the cabin a lot more airy. A roof-mounted entertainment screen can also be seen here.
The Vellfire comes with 3-zone climate control, a massage function for rear seat passengers, and several storage compartments. There are two tabs on the armrest of the MPV that help the passenger control several features. The third-row seats are also fairly spacious, and the video shows that as well. The sliding doors at the rear can be electrically opened and closed. The video then shows the rear of the MPV. There are redesigned LED tail lamps with a connecting LED bar. There is a roof-mounted spoiler with a neatly hidden rear windscreen wiper underneath.
The boot can be opened and closed using buttons that are neatly integrated under the tail lamps of the Vellfire. Toyota Vellfire is powered by a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder petrol engine, which is paired with a strong hybrid system. It generates around 193 PS and 240 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to an e-CVT gearbox. Toyota offers the Vellfire in two variants. There is the Hi variant that is priced at Rs 1.20 crore, ex-showroom, and the VIP with Executive Lounge Package variant, which costs Rs 1.30 crore, ex-showroom. We saw the latter in this video.
