Some people think that they can get away with terrorizing public roads with their reckless driving. However, this cannot be further from the truth, as today everyone who tries to disturb the peace of the roads gets arrested. Recently, a video of some goons recklessly driving four cars — Safari, i20, XUV700, and Creta — was shared from Orissa. Thankfully, as soon as the video went viral, the police authorities took note of it and immediately arrested these miscreants.

Orissa Reckless Drivers
The video showing the reckless driving of these goons was shared on X by Debi Prasad. The clip starts with four cars — a Hyundai i20, Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700, and a Hyundai Creta — being driven in a convoy. We can note that, except for the Hyundai Creta, there were people standing out of the sunroofs and windows.
A person was standing with a flag out of the Hyundai i20, which was driving at the front. Just behind the i20 was a white Tata Safari Dicor. It can be noted that this SUV was being driven most recklessly. Two to three people came out of the window of this SUV while it was changing lanes recklessly.
What was even more shocking was that the driver of this Safari even left the road entirely. He did this to drive over the footpath on the side of the road. Even while doing this, there was a person who did not go inside the car. Soon after, this car rejoined the convoy.
We can also note that there was another person standing out of the sunroof of the Mahindra XUV700. Lastly, we can observe that all the cars, including the last Hyundai Creta, were changing lanes very aggressively, and the hazard lights of all cars were on.

Soon after this video was shared online, a number of people started tagging the police authorities of Orissa. Thankfully, all of these complaints were immediately noted, and the police authorities began their investigation. It was soon announced by the Commissionerate Police that they had started arresting the individuals in the video.
The Orissa Commissionerate Police shared a post stating, “In response to the road rage incident today i.e. on dt.16.09.2024, Commissionerate Bhubaneswar Police has seized another vehicle, Regd. No. OD 02 CR 0092. So far, 5 culprits have been arrested and 3 vehicles seized.”
In the pictures, we can note that the white Tata Safari Dicor, red Mahindra XUV700, and white Hyundai Creta have been seized by the police authorities. A short clip of the driver of the Tata Safari Dicor sitting in front of the SUV along with three police officers has also been shared.
Another picture shared by the police shows four young individuals sitting inside a police vehicle after getting arrested for reckless driving. It has been stated by the Commissionerate Police that they are continuing their investigation to arrest the remaining people from the video.

Many netizens have come forward and applauded the efforts put in by the Orissa Police. They have stated that the police authorities arrested these miscreants very quickly. They added that strong actions like these are necessary to make people understand that they cannot get away with acting in such a way.
One of the netizens commented, “I’m loving it. People are using social platforms for such Good Reason and Helping Our police to take action on such People.” Meanwhile, another wrote, “Prompt and swift action, many appreciations to Bbsr police. @sprourkela rkl police should learn from it, number of times issues are raised online but no action or response at all.
