VW's Small Electric SUV Will Borrow Design Cues From ID. Buzz

Referring to the teaser photo, the ID.2all SUV won’t likely look anything like its bigger EV siblings. It sports a silhouette similar to the low-slung concept version of the ID.2all, a familiar headlight design, and a rear roof spoiler. What’s different for the SUV version is the set of more pronounced wheel fenders that add a rugged look. There are also three slats on the C-pillar, similar to the Volkswagen ID. Buzz.

As a model based on the ID.2all, we can expect the powertrain to utilize a single motor capable of generating 223 horsepower. In the hatchback body style, Volkswagen claims the EV can achieve 0-62 mph in 6.9 seconds. The European WLTP-rated range is around 279 miles, and charging time from 10%-80% should take approximately 20 minutes.
