Watch Mahindra XUV700 SUV taking a jump on the road [Video]

Mahindra is one of the popular SUV manufacturer in the country. They have models like Thar, Scorpio and Bolero in their stable. One of the latest SUV that was launched by Mahindra in the market was XUV700. It was an all-new product that was launched last year. XUV700 is the most feature-loaded and technologically advanced SUV from Mahindra till date. It became so popular that the waiting period on this SUV even today is over 6 months (depending on the variant). We have seen several modification videos of XUV700 on the internet. Here we have a video where the XUV700 is seen taking a jump on the road.

The video has been uploaded by Mr Hulk Vlogs on their YouTube channel. This is actually a very short video. In this clip, a Mahindra XUV700 SUV is seen on an empty road. It looks like the road was closed for construction and no other vehicles were seen around. The road has a depression where all four roads meet. This actually acts as a ramp for a jump if the car comes at a good speed. Normally people slow down before entering the junction but, in this case driver’s intention was to make the car jump so he did not slow down. The SUV was carrying good speed and in just few seconds time, the XUV700 hits the depression and then goes airborne as it comes out of it.

The driver managed to pull the stunt off successfully. In this video, it looks very easy but there is a lot of risk involved in this. In this case no accidents happened. The SUV managed to land back on all the wheels. XUV700 is a large SUV and the chances of losing control over the vehicle are more. There is no surety that the car would behave in the way that the driver wants while it is in the air. The engine is placed in the front and the nose might simply dip down to the road faster than one would expect. In such cases, the driver cannot do anything as it all happens very fast.

The Mahindra XUV700 is manufactured as a premium SUV that can handle rough road conditions within city limits. Making it go airborne and taking it to extreme off-roading sessions might be an issue especially for the 2WD variant. In case of jumps like this, the chances of breaking the suspension of the SUV are also involved. The suspension on this SUV are not made for such extreme stunts. If you do such stunts regularly, then it will definitely bring down the life of you car suspension. In short, we do not recommend people doing such stunts.

Mahindra XUV700 is a premium SUV that is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol version is powered by a 2.0 litre turbocharged engine and the diesel version uses a 2.2 litre turbocharged unit. The diesel engine is offered in two states of tune. Both petrol and diesel engine options are available with manual and automatic transmission option. The top-end diesel automatic version also gets AWD as an option.
