Even EVs from Tesla, like the Model 3, entered the festival. Not many owners would be willing to customize their EVs to prevent compromising the range, but Thai car fans don’t seem to care.
Two often-forgotten gems also joined in the festivities. We’re talking about the Mazda RX-8 and Volkswagen Scirocco. The former was the last rotary-propelled Mazda, while the latter was a fun, sporty hatch once never sold in the USA because VW was afraid it would cannibalize sales from the Golf GTI.
Apart from the massive car displays from different clubs, the festival also arranged races, including drag and drift racing. What’s crazier is that dragsters ran the drag strip without a helmet, which would never be allowed at a sanctioned race in the US.
