What Are The Differences Between A 1939 & 1940 Mercury Coupe? The IronTrap Crew Will Make You An Expert!
I’m not an early Ford guy in the grand scheme of things, but I know enough to be dangerous. With that said, I’ve always had trouble telling the difference between 1939 and 1940 Fords because they look virtually the same. I know there are differences, but when you see the two of them at a Goodguys show or something, where they have been customized at least a little bit, you never know if parts are stock or custom or have been swapped between years. In this video, Matt and Mike from IronTrap Garage give us the full rundown on what is the same and what is not as they park a ’39 right next to a ’40 and discuss all the features.
Check it out and let us know what you think. I think I’m going to learn some stuff!
