Yamaha Reveals Sporty Three-Wheeler EV And Hydrogen-Combustion Buggy

Yamaha has revealed several exciting concepts at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show that showcase the company’s idea of future mobility. The two most exciting designs are the Tricera three-wheeler and the hydrogen-powered YXZ1000R.

The Tricera looks like an ultra-modern version of the Morgan Super 3 that the company describes as a “three-wheel open-top electric autocycle” that delivers a Kando-filled driving experience. What does this mean? Kando is a Japanese word that describes the “deep satisfaction and intense excitement that we experience when we encounter something of exceptional value.”

The Tricera promises responsive dynamics, with the company noting it will have a rear-wheel steering system, creating a new challenge for drivers. Of course, you can still control the car via the front wheels, but the manually selected rear-wheel steer should be fun to use – on a quiet road or race track.
